MemeNation is intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly publish sexually explicit, hateful, violent or otherwise unsuitable material. Content that violates this standard will be removed.
Submitting memes
When you submit a meme through our Submit Your Meme form, you confirm that:
- You created it or have the right to share it.
- It's appropriate for a general audience and doesn't target or harass any individual or group.
- You grant MemeNation a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, reproduce and share the submission on our site and associated social channels, with credit to you where possible.
We review submissions before publishing and may decline or edit any submission at our discretion. If you believe your copyrighted work was shared without permission, contact us and we'll review it promptly.
Advertising
Submitting an advertising request through our Advertise With Us form does not guarantee placement. All campaigns are subject to review, availability and a separate agreement on pricing and scheduling before anything goes live. We reserve the right to decline advertising that conflicts with our general-audience standard or brand values.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use MemeNation to distribute malware, scrape content at scale, attempt unauthorized access to our systems, or submit spam through our forms.
Intellectual property
The MemeNation name, logo and original site design belong to MemeNation. Individual meme content may be owned by its original creators; we credit sources whenever known.
No warranty
MemeNation is provided "as is" for entertainment purposes. We don't guarantee the site will be error-free or uninterrupted, and we're not responsible for how third parties use content shared from our pages.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MemeNation is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the site.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the revised terms.
